Career Planning

All employees have an annual Ceuta Performance Review (CPR) with their line manager. This takes place in January and is reviewed after six months. The CPR sets objectives and covers what has been achieved over the past year and examines the following:

  • strengths
  • aims and aspirations
  • training needs
  • areas for improvement and development
  • company values
  • achievements

It is company policy, where possible, to promote from within - thereby offering employees the chance to develop and grow within the company.

Assessment Centres

Following annual CPRs and line manager recommendations, suitable candidates are put forward to attend one-day Assessment Centres. These are run by senior managers and they cover:

  • presentation skills
  • problem-solving analysis
  • teamwork
  • interview skills
  • leadership and initiative skills analysis

Full reports are produced which identify any future training needs. These are fed back on a one-to-one basis and a career development plan is implemented.
