Go2Grocery is currently looking for a Customer Business Manager to manage all aspects of customer development and management with a shopper & category based approach.  The CBM will achieve volume, revenue, profit and strategic objectives in allocated customers in line with company standards, policies and strategy.  This role is equivalent to a Senior National Account Manager. 

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Management

  • Develop excellent engagement with key functional contacts – commercial, category, finance, supply chain, store operations

Primary Function:

Development of the Ceuta Group client relationships in order to achieve profitable sales and distribution of the clients’ products within either grocery or health & beauty / pharmacy channels, in line with clients’ and company objectives and operating standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To produce category solutions on behalf of UK blue chip FMCG manufacturers, specifically for the grocery or health & beauty / pharmacy channels.  To recognise and manage multiple clients’ differing objectives
  • To provide solutions for Ceuta’s Grocery or Pharmacy  National Accounts team and Independent Pharmacy Sales teams
  • Utilise a variety of data sets (transfer orders / ex-factory / in-market data)
  • To create planograms using space planning software that follow the clients’ brand specific guidelines
  • Interface with clients on a regular basis, working at clients’ head offices as and when required
  • Establish clients as ‘Category Champions’ for selected retail partners. To develop working relationship with category teams within the pharmacy retailers
  • Able to coordinate and influence range review processes
  • Gap analysis for pharmacy key accounts
  • Organise and run client review meetings where required
  • Feedback to client pharmacy specific market trends / trade news

 Knowledge & Skills base

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within FMCG
  • Experience in pharmacy channel
  • Understanding of category management and core ranging principles
  • Exposure in dealing with national and key accounts
  • Conversant with IRI/Nielsen Market Data
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office package
