Client Executive

Full time, fixed term position (12 months maternity cover)

We have a vacancy for a Client Executive at Head Office. This is a full time, head office-based, fixed term position for up to 12 months covering maternity leave and commencing in the New Year. This position will be supporting one large client (with leading brands in skincare, baby, pharmacy and VMS and covering all categories, including National Accounts) and managing 3 smaller clients (including both Pharmacy and Convenience).

The primary function of this role is to support the client manager to achieve profitable sales and distribution of the clients’ products within the UK, in line with clients’ and company objectives and operating standards. This role will cover National Accounts, Convenience, Grocery Pharmacy and Health food.

The following is the prerequisite knowledge and skill base required for the role: 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within FMCG
  • Experience of working within sales, trade marketing or category management
  • Advanced IT skills in Excel.
  • IT skills in PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Flexibility to go to Customer meetings and Client meetings as required. Other driving is also required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow up quickly is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable

National Sales Manager

We are currently in the early stages of launching a new pharmacy sales team, and we have a requirement for a National Sales Manager. This is a full time, home or office-based, fixed term position for 12 months initially, with the possibility of extension. The National Sales Manager position is a varied role covering client management as well as team management, and will be instrumental in the implementation of this new sales team.

The primary function of the role is to manage, train and monitor the pharmacy sales force in line with agreed client objectives, standards, policy and strategy and to achieve the clients’ pharmacy targets. The successful candidate will need to be prepared to work with the client as part of their management team, spending some time each week in their offices as well as working out in the field. This role will also be required to plan and organise the territories with the client.

  • Strong understanding of the key financial measures that drive effective performance
  • Skilled in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
